Welcome

Hey there! Your 2016-2017 FOR Club President, Nicole Trottier, here. I am really looking forward to the upcoming school year and working with parents, teachers, and staff to help all our students have the best learning opportunity and environment we can possibly give them.
First and foremost, a big giant Thank You!! to Suzanne Swanson and Vanessa Rojas for all their hard work and endless hours they dedicated to FOR club. Their hard work resulted in money that funded some pretty amazing things, including a chrome book cart that brings the chrome books to student ratio very close to a 1:1. Also a big thank you to our other board members past, present, and future who work hard on all the behind the scene logistics that make this club possible.

This upcoming year has the potential to be just as great as this year if not even better. But one of the most crucial parts of FOR club is its volunteers who take on all the smaller (yet crucial) tasks.  Lately our meetings have been looking a little stark, and with out volunteers we can't do fundraisers, and without the fundraising our children miss out on things like PE equipment, STEAM, Art, Visual and Performing arts, track and field, and many other important educational enrichment opportunities.  Currently our meetings are every second Friday of the month (check out our calendar), and that's the best place to go to get information. Have kids who aren't school age? Not a problem! Feel free to bring your smaller children to FOR club meetings, bring them some snacks and a few toys, and I promise they will never be alone (my littles are almost always with me).  If you work and can't get to meetings, no problem, check this blog often for recaps of meetings and ways you can volunteer. Let's make this next year our most successful yet!
